During several months we talked about creating a magazine that would talk about marketing, Internet marketing and the changes that business practices and consumers are going through.
We wanted to talk about being an Entrepreneur 3.0 where business owners understand the importance of sharing knowledge, collaborate and relate to the consumer in a different way, a way that allows consumers to be part of the process, give them control, engage them and create a real relationship, and talk about the consumer that changed so much in the last few years and the need we all have to understand this relationship.
We wanted to do it in such a way that people wouldn’t feel overwhelmed or think they are too old for these changes and tools. It is important to understand that the changes in the way people are doing business, products and books are being promoted, don’t belong to one specific generation.
When talking about the internet, we try to show that the tools are easy to use, inexpensive and available to everyone. What really counts is the strategy you have to use these tools.
We believe this first issue of Engage shows a little of all these facets. The magazine is written in a light and informal format, almost like a conversation and a conversation is exactly what we want to have with you. We have enjoyed every part of the process and we hope you can sense that when you go through the pages.
